But you keep your skills and the gear you have in your inventory. As for adding vehicles to an existing world, it should spawn them in chunks you haven't visited, but this most likely depends on the mods themselves. I could see there being merit to allowing more options for resetting the world map. With a couple toggles, you could allow all structures, including play-made, to be reset to original status.
